Chapter 38: Aconitine

A day passed since of Ren and Yaza went on.

Finally, they reached the place where the boss monster is.

In a space of about a hundred meters, they hid behind a large stone in the corner of the room.

In front of them, there was a large five-meters wolf surrounded by several wolves that were about one to two meters tall.

Black-Star Wolf (Lv62).

Black Wolf (Lv44).

“Is this our target?” (Yaza)

Yaza asked Ren with a hesitant tone.

“Yes, we will hunt the creature.” (Ren)

“You’re too much…” (Yaza)

“You said that you like challenges?” (Ren)

“Well, I put my safety first. And… How do we fight it?” (Yaza)

“With our current strength, it is impossible to win against it.” (Ren)

The Black-Star Wolf ordered the Black Wolf around him to attack Ren.

The Black Wolf attacked Ren simultaneously.

Ren activates ‘Intimidation’.

The Aura in Ren’s body shot out, the Black-Star Wolf wasn’t affected because the level was far above Ren.

But, the Black Wolfs were scared of Ren.

The Black Wolf movement slowed down because of Ren’s ‘Intimidation’.

“Shoot now!” (Ren)

Ren orders Yaza to shoot.

“Alright!” (Yaza)

Because the Black Wolf movement slowed down, Yaza managed to shoot ten Black Wolfs.

All the Black Wolf that was shot by Yaza’s gun had their movements stalled, they could not move their bodies because of the poison that was shot.

Ren killed the wolfs one by one that couldn’t move.

Currently, only six Black Wolfs and the Black-Star Wolf were left.

The Black-Star Wolf couldn’t just sit there watching his kin being killed one by one,

finally, it decided to go forward.

“Auuuuu!!”

The Black-Star Wolf shouted loudly.

Black-Star Wolf and six remaining Black Wolf advanced at once towards Ren.

There are now ten shots left in Ren’s hands.

The Black-Star Wolf’s claws were pointed toward Ren.

With how huge the Black-Star Wolf was, it was very difficult for Ren to avoid such attacks.

But, it wasn’t impossible.

Ren turned into an Eagle, using the small Eagle’s body, he avoided the Black-Star Wolf attacks and flew up.

The Black-Star Wolf jumped to attack Ren, but Ren flew higher until he couldn’t be reached by Black-Star Wolf.

The Black-Star Wolf gave up attacking Ren, finally, Black-Star Wolf attacked the nearby Yaza.

Yaza panicked, she could not possibly escape the Black-Star Wolf attack like Ren.

“Ren!!!!” (Yaza)

Yaza shouted, protesting to Ren with her cute face.

Black-Star Wolf ran towards Yaza.

Ren went down and transformed back to his original form.

Ren shot the six Black Wolfs around him, all his shots hit the target.

The Black-Star Wolf focused his attack at Yaza.

Ren shot the Black-Star Wolf from behind.

The shot hit the Black-Star Wolf, but nothing happened.

“Hmm? It seemed he’s too strong to be paralyzed with this poison.” (Ren)

The Black-Star Wolf was getting closer to Yaza.

Ren fired the remaining three bullets toward the Black-Star Wolf.

The three bullets hit Black-Star Wolf, but the Black-Star Wolf could still move, only its movement slowed down.

The Black-Star Wolf attacked Yaza with his claws.

As the claws almost tore through Yaza’s body, Ren used ‘Teleport’ to where Yaza was and carried her to avoid the attack.

“Why did not you save me from the beginning!!” (Yaza)

Yaza’s face looked funny, she scolded him with tears in her eyes.

Ren was comforted by Yaza’s expression, he loved to tease Yaza.

Ren just smiled at Yaza.

Currently, the Black-Star Wolf movement became very slow due to the influence of the four paralyzing bullets which were fired at it.

Ren put Yaza down and talked to her.

“Stay here, take care for me.” (Ren)

Yaza does not understand Ren’s intentions, but she could only obey.

“Yes!” (Yaza)

Ren transformed into Jack.

Ren threw Jack’s big sword to the top of the Black-Star Wolf head.

Yaza and Black-Star Wolf was confused, why did not he strike the sword at the Black-Star Wolf directly, but instead he tossed to the top of the Black-Star Wolf head, did he miss?

When the sword was directly above the Black-Star Wolf’s head, Ren transformed into Jose.

“‘Gravity Barrier’!” (Ren)

Ren activated the ‘Gravity Barrier’ around the sword.

In an instant, the tip of the big sword headed downwards.

The sword tip fell at the Black-Star Wolf’s head at an incredible speed due to the influence of the ‘Gravity Barrier’.

The Black-Star Wolf couldn’t avoid the attack because it was still under the influence of toxins.

Finally, the big sword penetrated the Black-Star Wolf brain at high speed.

No matter how strong the Black-Star Wolf was, if its brain was destroyed then it would die.

After the big sword penetrated the Black-Star Wolf’s brain, the Black-Star Wolf’s body fell without any trace of life.

After successfully killing the Black-Star Wolf, Ren returned to his original form and killed the Black Wolfs that was still alive.

“We did it!” (Yaza)

Yaza was shocked by what Ren did, but she was very happy that they managed to defeat the Black-Star wolf.

“Yeah, let’s dismantle the body parts of these monsters. We’ll sell it in the Guild. “(Ren)

“Alright!” (Yaza)

Ren and Yaza dismantled the body parts of the monsters.

After they dismantled everything and put in their ‘Inventory’, they returned to the city together.
