Chapter 25: Finding The Enemy’s Headquarters

“Send a message to Owen’s group to spread some of his troops to all the villages that Demi-Humans had controlled to reclaim them.” (Racco)

“Alright!”

Instead of waiting for an uncertain enemy attack when it happens, it’s better to attack first because it saves time, effort, and money.

General Racco decided to take over the villages that Demi-Humans had controlled.

In a room, the residence of the Demon Lord Yaura, she was talking to Ren and some of her General Demon.

“I expect your cooperation in this war.” (Yaura)

“Of course.” (Ren)

“Thanks to you, I do not have to bother sending an intruder haha.” (Yaura)

“It’s not for free, I’ll also need your help later.” (Ren)

“Yes, I’m happy that we are helping each other as we are both Demi-Humans.”  (Yaura)

“Looks like you hate Humans so much?” (Ren)

“Well, a lot has happened.” (Yaura)

A soldier came into the room carrying a report.

“All preparations have been completed, we can attack anytime.”

“What do you think, Sarya?” (Yaura)

“We will wait for the movement of the enemy, we will attack when the enemy falls into our trap.” (Sarya)

“I love your unhurried style.” (Yaura)

“Thank you. Then, Lord Yaura. I’ll excuse myself first, I’ll go to the battlefield now.” (Sarya)

“Okay, I expect good results from you. Hohoho!” (Yaura)

Demon General Sarya left the room and then went to the battlefield.

“General Racco ordered to send some troops to all Demi-Human-controlled villages to reclaim the villages.”

Hmm, there are five villages around here that are being controlled by Demi-Human.

“Send two hundred men to every village, fifty men in every army must be adventurers.” (Owen)

“Alright!”

After receiving orders from Owen, some troops left.

“Are you sure that’s enough to fight them?” (Prata)

“Take it easy, the adventurers will handle it. Hahaha! “(Owen)

“Then, what are we going to do?” (Prata)

“We will wait for news from the Tamers who are looking for the enemy’s main headquarters, then we will immediately attack the enemy’s headquarters!” (Owen)

“Looks like you love fighting.” (Prata)

“Of course, fighting makes my blood boil!” (Owen)

“What if there’s a Demon Lord there?” (Prata)

“Hmm… I’ll fight!” (Owen)

“Haha… I’m not sure you’ll win against a Demon Lord.” (Prata)

“Well, it looks like I’ll need your help if that happens.” (Owen)

“I will definitely help you!” (Prata)

“Hahaha!” (Owen)

A few hours later, one of Tamers managed to find the location of the enemy’s main headquarters in the east.

That tamer immediately reported to General Racco and others.

“Finally we found it, convey the message to the headquarters, I need the help of three thousand more people. I will attack the enemy’s main base.” (Owen)

“Alright!”

The messenger went to General Racco’s place.

“Report. Master Owen requested an additional three thousand troops to attack the enemy’s main base.”

“Master Owen asked for help? Well, the enemy didn’t do anything, maybe it’s better if we attack first.” (Racco)

No.

It could be an enemy trap to reduce our defenses.

“Tell Master Owen. I have to refuse his request, we can not reduce our defenses as our main goal is to defend this city. And tell Master Owen not to send too many troops from the east because it will affect our defenses.” (Racco)*

“Alright!”

The messenger went to Owen’s place.

“We will take all the troops here to attack the enemy’s main base.” (Owen)”

“If you bring all the troops here, the eastern part of this city will not have a guard. You want to ignore General Racco’s orders?!” (Prata)

“Ugh… Okay then, I will only bring four thousand troops. No problem right? “(Owen)*

“Well, as long as there are still a lot of guys keeping up here, it does not seem to matter. But are you sure that you can attack them with just four thousand people?” (Prata)*

“Do not underestimate us, the adventurers!” (Owen)

“Hoooooooo!”

The adventurers shouted.

Several royal soldiers far from Owen’s position asked.

“Why are they shouting?”

“I don’t know, we’ll come along?”

“Okay.”

“Hoooooooooo!”

They also shouted.

With only a thousand troops left in the eastern part of town, Owen and four thousand of his army went to the forest, where the enemy’s headquarters were located.

“Master Owen really left?” (Racco)

“Yeah.”

“Then send five hundred men from the other armies to the eastern part of the city, to strengthen the defense in the east.” (Racco)

“Alright!”

With the departure of Owen and his troops, General Racco had to increase the guard located in the east of Trase City.
