Chapter 14: Rasata City

Rasata City, one of the big cities located in the western part of the Peria Kingdom.

The city is very crowded because it is located near the forest inhabited by many animals, the forest is rich in natural resources.

Many new adventurers take on missions around the forest because the mission is relatively easy and many low-level animals help them raise their level.

In the Guildhall many people were sitting around and talking about various things, then two adventurers went inside, a man and a woman.

“Well, we finally arrived.”

“Yes, but we lost…”

The woman looked sad.

Usually, they are back with three peoples, but now just the two of them.

“Anyway, we better report to the Guild about the incident.”

“Yes…”

When they both get into the Guild, someone comes up to them.

“Hoo, is not this Jack and Mary? How is your mission? “

Jack and Mary see someone calling them and coming to her.

“Oh, Albe. Our mission finished smoothly but…”(Jack)

Seeing Jack hesitating, Albe turned his gaze to Mary.

Mary looked sad.

“But what? By the way, where is Kevin? (Albe)

“That’s…” (Mary)

“Our mission is smooth, but we were attacked by Demi-Human on the street, he killed

Kevin…” (Jack)

At Jack’s explanation, Albe sighed and closed his eyes.

“I’m sorry about that, but Demi-Human in the forest? We should report to the Guild about this, if Demi-Human can kill Kevin it’s pretty strong. “(Albe)

“Yes, we plan to do that. Maybe the Guild will send a team to hunt down the Demi-Human. “(Jack)

“I will join the team.” (Albe)

After asking Mary to wait with Albe, Jack approached the reception desk, greeted by a lovely receptionist.

“Hello Jack, how are you? Is there anything I can help?”

“Hmm Lana, I have some bad news. I want to meet the Guild Master, it’s a matter of Demi-Human. “(Jack)

Lana was surprised to hear Jack call Demi-Human.

“All right, I’ll arrange a meeting soon. Please wait a moment. “(Lana)

Lana left her desk and ran upstairs using the stairs behind the reception door.

A few moments later Lena went back to the waiting Jack.

“Jack, please follow me to the Guild Master room.” (Lana)

Jack nodded, guided by Lana, Jack pointing to the Guild Master room on the third floor.

On the third floor, the Guild Master room.

Jack is sitting face-to-face with the Guild Master of Rasata City.

Raffel, Guild Master of Rasata City.

This guy is a former Rank S adventurer, his level above 60.

In the past, Raffel is very meritorious against the Demi-Human attack in Rasata City, Raffel is one of the strongest people in Rasata City.

“Did I hear you met Demi-Human in Limbra Forest?” (Raffel)

“Right, we met Demi-Human on our way back here, and…” (Jack)

If his opponent is Doppelganger, then there is the possibility that Jack is in front of him this is Doppelganger who claimed to be Jack, maybe also Mary downstairs is Doppelganger, Raffel thinks hard about this problem.

Suddenly Raffel hit Jack’s head with a hard punch “Brughh!” came a loud voice.

“Awwww, what does that mean Guild Master???!!” (Jack)

“Hahaha, no, I’m just testing. Maybe you’re the Clone made by the Doppelganger, but it does not seem so because you did not disappear after the hit. I will do the same to Mary.”(Raffel)

“Uggghhh…” (Jack)

“Okay, now we will make a team to hunt down the Doppelganger.” (Raffel)

Raffel gathers the Guild’s staff to discuss the ongoing hunt.
